- Adding an Economy to the MRT (presented by computerghost and LDShadowLord)Ā
- Waiting for Minecraft 1.8

Here are my proposals for revamping the rules and ranks on the server. For the most part, these are planned to come into effect when the new world is open to the public:
Frumple’s Rules Proposal – Public Draft
Frumple’s Ranks Proposal – Public Draft
Please note that discussions for the road/rail rules, and the details of the [Premier] rank are still ongoing amongst staff.
Computerghost and LDShadowLord will also be presenting a proposal to introduce an economy to the MRT. Please see the proposal document they have created here.
Results of the GSM are as follows:

Remember that this is just a game. Chill out and have fun. š
The Open Floor and Q&A with members seemed fairly successful, with no major objections to both the proposals put forward for the rules and ranks and the economy. If you have any further questions or concerns about these proposals, please e-mail us at mod [at] minecartrapidtransit.net.

The April Build Auction has now officially started. Please seeĀ this Google Doc spreadsheetĀ for a listing of the towns up for auction. If you would like to put your name up for ownership of any of these towns, please send a detailed proposal to mod+auction [at] minecartrapidtransit.net. In the proposal, please explain why we should choose you as the new owner of the town, what kind of plans you have for the town, and what you will do to preserve the original architecture and buildings of the town.
The staff will consider all proposals for the build auction at the next GSM, which will likely be at the end of April.
Thanks,
Frumple
