October 2023 GSM Results

Here are the results of the October 2023 GSM.

Premier Applications

Two cities were reviewed for the rank of Premier. To be promoted, candidate cities must receive at least 85% of votes in favour of promotion.

  • Nuuk by Zuoj was promoted by a vote of 7-0
  • New Chandigarh by SaltedLine was not promoted by a vote of 2-5

Zuoj gave a speech at the GSM which will be posted here soon.

Congratulations to Zuoj for the promotion, staff feedback on both of these cities can be viewed here.

Conductor Applications

Four conductor candidates were considered at this GSM:

  • RainbowSlimee was not promoted by a vote of 0-7-3
  • ProCallMeJr was promoted by a vote of 7-3-0
  • bobbygammer was not promoted by a vote of 2-7-1
  • LesVidamo was not promoted by a vote of 4-5-1

Congratulations to ProCallMeJr on becoming the server’s newest conductor.

Moderator Candidate

One moderator candidate was considered at this GSM: Zuoj who was promoted by a 9-1-0 vote. Zuoj has served the community as a Conductor for over a year, so we’re very glad to have him on the staff team.

Delta Server Migration

Frumple informed the community of the upcoming server migration to Delta. More information on this migration can be viewed here.

Central City Crossrail

A proposal by EliteNeon to create a new warp rail line through Central City, linking various transport hubs in a single line, was approved.

Four Seasons Buses IAT

Four Seasons Buses, a company owned by the inactive player Kel5, was requested by Avaneesh2008. This proposal was approved.

Next GSM

The next GSM will be held on Saturday 11th November at 19:00UTC. Moderator nominations and Conductor applications are due by 19:00 UTC on Saturday 4th November, and other community topics are due by 19:00 UTC on Thursday 9th November.

Please note that most countries will transition from summer to winter timezones, so this will likely be an hour earlier than normal in your local timezones!
